Ylläs Villas is a Finnish family-owned company running four high-end wooden chalets in Äkäslompolo in Finnish Lapland. Villa Stella, Villa Aurora, Villa Astra, and Villa Polaris are fully equipped holiday houses rented per week - from Saturday to Saturday.

Villa Stella is an airy and modern log cabin and houses up to eight people. The house consists of two separate bedrooms downstairs with two single beds in each. There is a cozy loft with four additional single beds, Fatboy beanbags, and reading lights upstairs. Villa Stella has high ceilings and big windows, which gives it a modern and spacious feel. The common area consists of the living room and kitchen, from where you also can enter the big terrace. The interior consists of an eight-person dining table, a big leather sofa and a lounge chair, a modern and efficient open fireplace, and a big TV. This is the perfect spot for relaxing after an adventurous day outside. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding nature from the modern sauna with a door to the terrace if it gets too hot (or why not take a dip in the snow to cool off?). There is also a bathroom and WC in the sauna department and an additional separate WC next to the bedrooms. Further, we offer our guests free use of a washing machine and a dryer for wet and sweaty clothes. There is plenty of room for storing clothes and shoes in the vestibule, where also the dryer is.

The heated building outside the chalet includes large storage and a warm service room for ski preparation with all service equipment needed. There is also a drying room where you can conveniently leave all wet ski boots, helmets, and outerwear to dry. We also offer complete sets of modern high-class skis, boots, and ski poles for both cross-country and alpine skiing. Our comfortable alpine ski boots can be found in all adult sizes and fit perfectly with the alpine carving skis in several lengths. The cross-country skis and ski boots are meant for touring and can also be found in different sizes and lengths. Also a set of snowshoes and BungyPump – Nordic walking poles are yours to use. We also offer our guests a “Norsk Fjellpulke”. The convenient location of Villa Stella makes sure that you can ski down from the ski slope straight to the chalet’s yard and that you find several cross-country ski tracks just behind the house. The Ylläs Ski Bus stop is 800 meters away. In autumn you can pick berries and mushrooms right on the porch and in summer you can hike in the forest just behind the house. Northern lights can be spotted even from inside the chalet through the windows!
