Villa Väderkulla is a private countryside retreat in the Porvoo Archipelago — one hour from Helsinki, a world away from everyday life. The main cottage has one double bedroom (160×200 cm), a living room with sofa bed (140×190 cm), a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and freezer, indoor WC, TV, and an air-source heat pump for year-round comfort. A separate annexe houses your own private wood-fired Finnish sauna, a shower, washing machine, and a guest room with two single beds. Outside: a large private terrace, Weber gas grill, and a trampoline the children will love. An outdoor hot tub stays warm and ready around the clock — a quiet soak alone, with friends, or a relaxed way to end the evening after the sauna. High-speed 5G internet (1,000 Mbit/s) throughout. Villa Väderkulla is located in Åby, in the Porvoo Archipelago — one hour from Helsinki and 20 minutes from Porvoo city centre. The surrounding landscape is open and quiet — wide farmland and sea views across the fields and meadows. Bosgård's Charolais cattle graze right outside the cottage all summer. The farm is about 12 km away and worth a visit: nature trails, a farm shop selling local beef, and a restaurant. - Virvik Beach (8 km, 10 min) is one of the area's best family-friendly sandy beaches with safe, shallow swimming. - Virvik Golf, an 18-hole course in a stunning archipelago setting, is just minutes away. - Pellinge (10 min by car) takes you into the Pellinge archipelago, where a Saturday market sells fresh fish, vegetables and local produce in summer. - Kungsbacka Farm Animal Park (30 min) is a favourite for families — sheep, ponies, donkeys, goats and the rare Valais Blacknose sheep, all available to feed and pet. - Porvoo old town (20 min) is known for its excellent restaurants and charming medieval streets. - Nearest shop: Kauppa R.
