Welcome alone, with friends or with family to this old "timetrip" house surrounded by a green garden with daisies and apple trees. Pets are also very welcome. The house and the garden has hosted several animals through the years - cats, dogs, birds, turtles, even a cow. The house is situated 200 m from the lake Pyhäjärvi. The common swimming beaches can be found just a kilometer away. The services of the small center of Tammela are within walking distance. You can use the ground floor with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a living room and a small toilet/shower room. The toilet/shower room is connected to the master bedroom, separated by a sliding door, which means that access is always through the master bedroom and the door cannot be locked. The master bedroom has a double bed and a baby bed. Smaller bedroom (further from master bedroom) has a normal bed and also children's bed. There is also 1 bed (width 75cm) in the living room. Max number of adults is 4. Big kitchen has a dining table for five and tiny kids' table for two. You can have a cup of coffee also outside in the garden or in the porch. In the garden there is also a big table for dining (no rain shelter). Later in the summer you can pick some berries or apples from the garden to enjoy with your breakfast. Please notice that the house is 80 years old and partly in its original condition. From outside, birdsong and the sounds of mopeds from the nearby road are carried inside. If you are very allergic, please note that there are animal guests in the house every now and then. Please also note that there is no wifi neither TV in the house!

I am available during your stay at least by phone and via messages, occasionally also in person. I will try to be there when you arrive. The house is also for my family's personal use, but we leave for your visit.

Tammela is a real summer village with 200 lakes and bonds and 2 national parks. You can go fresbee-golfing, hiking or swimming in the lakes. In the center you can find for example 2 supermarkets, restaurant, cafeterias, pharmacy and 500 years old church. National park Torronsuon kansallispuisto is situated within 14 km and Liesjärven kansallispuisto 27 km away. Saaren kansanpuisto is just 7 km away with nice beaches and Kaukolanharju view tower. Eerikkilä sport center is 16 km away. Hiidenlinna Park Resort (adventure park, reindeers, ski-museum etc etc) is just 30 min drive away in Somerniemi! Open only in summer. Forssa is the nearest city 7 km away and to Hämeenlinna you drive in 40 min. Helsinki - Vantaa airport is 120 km away and Turku Port 100 km away. Welcome to cool Finland!
