Ideal for guests arriving without a car – airport, train and ski bus stops are located just 50 metres away by Äkäshotelli. Outdoor trails start right next to the apartment. The studio is located on the ground floor, with windows facing the peaceful courtyard. Sleeping arrangements include two single beds (80 cm each), which can be combined into a double bed with mattress toppers, as well as a sofa bed (140 cm) suitable for one adult or two children. The apartment features a kitchenette, private sauna, bathroom/WC, drying cabinet, and washing machine. Additional amenities include a TV, radio, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. We live in Ylläs ourselves, just a few kilometres from the apartment, and we personally take care of most apartment-related matters. We are usually available whenever we are in the area and are happy to help if needed. Cross-country ski tracks, walking trails, and outdoor routes start directly from the courtyard. The services of Lapland Hotels Äkäshotelli, including restaurants and wellness services, are conveniently located just across the road. During the winter season, the ski bus provides easy access to ski lifts and services on both sides of the Ylläs fell area. You can also reach the famous Lainio Snow Village conveniently by bus. If you arrive late in the evening, please note that grocery stores and restaurants in the area may close relatively early. During summer, please check transport connections to Äkäslompolo in advance. Airport shuttle connections are not available for all arriving flights. In winter, please do not walk on cross-country ski tracks. Separate winter walking routes are clearly marked in the terrain. We kindly encourage guests to support the maintenance of local trails and outdoor routes through voluntary trail fees.
