There is Kotajärvi lake near (5 km) for fishining and crayfishining lovers and to rest with all family on the beach. We will help to rent a boat for you. Hiking trails, lighted ski trail, ski slope, bike paths, golf and tennis (5-10 km) are available. We recommend to try the local traditional dish in Lemi - “Särä from Lemi”. This is a lamb cooked in a wood stove for about 9 hours. This dish is served with local potatoes. Lemi is famous for its potatoes in Finland. Särä is recognized as the eighth miracle of Finland.

Your Hotels is situated near airport (14 km), Lappenranta (15 km) and MAPP Brusnichnoe (43 km). This is a quiet place near 13 and 6 roads. Suitable for travellers to stay for a while after long way.

You can reach Lappenranta in 25 min and about one hour to the airport using a bus. Withing 1,5 hours by train from Lappeenranta you can reach Russia, St. Petersburg (visa is compulsory to visit Russia). But there is a visa-free cruise to Vyborg or St Petersburg also depart from Lappeenranta. The airport in Lappeenranta opens flights to/from Bergamo, Budapest, Berlin, Athens, Thessaloniki, Vienna. This is an easy way to start your journey and experience Finland and Russia.
