Hello and welcome to 22. Enjoy the perfect setting to relax and soak in the tranquility of peaceful country living in rural Northern France. This simple and bright village cottage is a functional and comfortable base camp for exploring the Ternois’, Seven Valleys. 22 features a spacious 5x3mtr lounge, a log fire, comfortable seating, a flat screen TV (with DVD player, Chromecast, Netlfix, Amazon etc) and large dining table for 6 guests. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks an enclosed private garden with decked seating area, fruit trees, herb garden, shade and BBQ. Still on the ground floor and at the other end of the property, a large double bedroom, dressing area, Kingsize memory-foam mattress, cotton sheets and thick duvets. Hairdryer, Iron (and board) are all provided. Full bathroom with complimentary soap and TP, is adjacent. The exposed beamed upstairs, is all open plan. On one side, a Kingsize bed with soft furnishings and on the other, separated by a chimney and curtains, two full-size single beds.

We (Alison et Pierre Hopkins) live a stones throw away and will be on hand should you require anything at all to make your stay a pleasurable experience. We also offer a few services should you require… - We offer a door to door taxi service if you fancy a special dining experience at the exquisite restaurant ‘La Cour Du Remi’ (for a small fee) - We also run a fully equipped recording studio which can be hired by the day/hour with engineer. Please get in touch for more info and rates. - We have chickens living with us, so we’ll leave some free fresh eggs in 22’s kitchen and can send some more over upon request.

The region has plenty to offer visitors and you will find a welcome pack detailing all of the things we’ve discovered to do nearby. For example, right on your door step there’s a river at 5 minutes walk, ideal for fishing and a bike hire shop within walking distance. A train station with trains that go all the way to seaside town, Etaples, a very well equipped Market Store, Petrol Station and Post Office are an easy 2 minute drive from the property in neighbouring town, Anvin. Further a field but still within an hours drive, you’ll find the historic, walled village of Montreuil-Sur-Mer, the beautiful town of Arras and the busy bustling city of Lille. A real treat for shopping, restaurants and culture. For the thrill-seekers, there’s Kayaking at nearby Boubers-sur-Canche, wind surfing (Berck Plage) and for families seeking a fun day out, there’s the excellent ‘Dennlys Parc’ with rides for all ages only 15 minutes drive from 22. We are also very lucky to have ‘La Cour Du Remi’ with in a 5 minute drive. A spectacular restaurant, offering locally sourced produce in a quiet and peaceful setting.
