Completely refurbished in 2023, these 3 self-contained cottages each with its own open plan kitchen-living space, bedrooms and bathrooms, share a large games room (converts to indoor dining space for all), beautiful shady gardens and pool. Sleeping up to 16 in 8 bedrooms (2 cottages have 3 bedrooms on 1st floor, one cottage has 2 bedrooms on ground floor) these gites are ideal for 3 families or groups of friends who want to spend time together. Fully equipped from coffee makers to ice makers, from table tennis to table football to boules, bikes and BBQ and from sun loungers to cosy armchairs, these gites are in a peaceful rural setting and a perfect break or longer holiday for friends & family.
Patrick, the UK based owner, is available for questions via email or phone. Philippe, the local manager of the properties lives 5 minutes away and is on hand to provide advice, answer questions & deal with any problems you may experience.
Located in the heart of rural French countryside. Nearest market town is Saint-Maixent-L'école, 10km & 15 minute drive away, with a large Leclerc hypermarket & local produce shops,. St Georges de Noisne village shop & bar, Chez Jean Feytreauld, is 3km from the gites providing selection of bread, croissants, food, cheese, wine etc. The owner, Jean Marie, is a very good friend. The area is wonderful for long & short walks, bike rides, nearby lakes & relaxing by the pool. Stunning sunsets & sunrises. Car is necessary.
Railway station at Saint-Maixent-L'école is 15 minute drive away on the TGV (fast French train service) and Paris can be reached in around 2 hours.
