I am from Canada originally and spent over 22 years in the Canadian Forces as an Artillery Officer before meeting Gavin and after several years of long-distance travel between Canada and the UK, we were married in 2003. Since then, I have worked for a variety of companies in the field of Learning and Development. My husband Gavin is from Scotland originally and spent over 37 years in the British Forces as a Logistics Officer, which meant we travelled all over the UK and spent a few years in Italy. After retiring from the British Forces, Gavin worked for the past 7 years in the field of Science and Technology which took us to Southsea, UK, where we loved living beside the seaside. We decided to pursue our long-held dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast in France. After viewing over 25 properties, we fell in love with 5 Grande Rue as soon as we walked through the door and we hope you will too. We are passionate about sharing our home with you as we both love entertaining and we look forward to a house filled with fun and laughter set in this picture postcard setting.

We are both fully vaccinated. We maintain strict protocols in the house to reduce risks. There are five individually designed bedrooms that blend traditional period features with the usual modern-day comforts. Each well-proportioned and spacious bedroom is furnished with your comfort in mind with sumptuous beds complemented with 400 thread count linens and quality towels. You can stay in one of our beautifully appointed rooms, all en-suite and designed to make your overnight stay very special, for as little as 85 euros a night. All rates are per room with a scrumptious breakfast included together with secure parking and WiFi. Subject to availability, an additional bed for a child under 10 can be put in any of our rooms charged at 25 Euros per night. There are tea and coffee making facilities available for everyone to use on the 1st floor landing. The garden and terrace provide space to enjoy a meal, a drink, read a book or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our outside space. Our new swimming pool is in the client garden. It is heated and has sun loungers. We plan to open it from April until late September.
