In the heart of the historic village of Murato, we welcome you to our charming guest rooms. The building is an old dry-stone sheepfold, entirely renovated to offer you all the comfort you need for a wonderful stay.
Enjoy also a common outdoor space: a garden, a large wooden terrace with swimming pool and jacuzzi facing the mountain. Breakfast is included.
Additional amenities: Private parking, secure WiFi, TV and reversible air conditioning.
Neighborhood info
Murato is a village nestled at an altitude of nearly 600 metres in the high Nebbiu in Upper Corsica. Its geographical location gives it a strategic advantage which partly explains its rich history: it is close to the greater Bastia area, overlooking Saint Florent and the Cap Corse. It is also open to the Balagne and the Centre Corse. To visit the area, it is strongly recommended to have a means of transport (car or motorbike). However, you can easily move around the village on foot.
The village, very lively in summer and winter, lacks nothing: grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, bars and restaurants, butcher shop, post office...
Discover also the richness of the village: The most famous monument is the church of Saint Michel, classified as a historical monument since 1840. But it is far from being the only one: you will discover other churches, Genoese bridges, wash houses and ovens that were once very much in use. You can also go on more or less easy hikes in the vicinity.
