It is a charming old French country home, nestled amidst beautiful natural surroundings. It is not a luxury home, but a delightful family home with a sun-drenched front terrace, a small lawn, and 6,000 square meters of forest serving as a backyard—which our guests are, of course, welcome to enjoy. Children can play hide-and-seek or build forts there.
Wesley has a knack for finding unique spots in nature. Together, we share a passion for restoring old, beautiful homes to their former glory. We are family people and feel a deep connection to nature. We love it when our guests tell us they’re enjoying the sun on our terrace. Knowing that others can experience the beauty of this French countryside and nature brings us joy.
When you step out of our garden, you’ll find yourself walking through the woods. After about 2 km, you’ll come to a large lake. There’s a small beach there, and it’s a wonderful place to swim. It’s also a great spot for fishing enthusiasts. The most famous lake, Lac de Vassiviere, is about 16 km away. It’s a wonderful place to relax and offers opportunities for horseback riding, canoeing, and mountain biking, and in the summer there’s an obstacle course on the water for kids. The surrounding area is characterized by beautiful wooded hills and farmland.
