Luxury gites in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings converted in 2018. Spacious with modern facilities. Private terraces with seating & bbq per gite opening onto large gardens with 10m x 5m in ground pool. On the Loire/Vienne border near Futuroscope, Loire Valley Chateaux, Saumur & Chinon vineyards & historic towns of Poitiers, Tours & Richelieu. The character cottages have historic interest such as stone floors, oak beams, indoor well with safety glass, vaulted ceilings & lime washed walls.
I am married to Mark and we have two daughters who are approaching teenage! We love to travel ourselves and moved to live in France in 2017. We adore this area with it's wealth of interesting historic town, chateaux and gastronomy. Mark and Sam live on site and can help to answer any questions you may have on the area or help to direct you towards the best attractions and restaurants locally. We speak English but are both learning to speak French.
Set in a quiet rural hamlet within 2 miles from a town with a restaurant, bakers, convenience store, tourist office, bank, pharmacy etc. The nearby medieval towns of Richelieu, Chinon, Poitiers, Tours and Saumur offer excellent entertainment including chateaux, wine tours, fine dining, zoos, shopping, golf and the amusement parks of Futuroscope and Puy de Fou. We are in a beautiful part of the french countryside with lots of fantastic walking or cycling on the doorstep but with the advantages of a small town approximately 2 miles away.
