Apartment Le Hibou is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It takes up the top 2 floors of a detached house. The front door is situated at the top of a flight of stairs. There is a large balcony from which you can take in a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, and villages. Hibou has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, and a bathroom on the 1st floor. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equiped, so you will find all the utensils and equipment you should need, including a Nespresso coffee machine, food processor and a microwave. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, and drying rack. The underfloor heating in the main living area and bathroom keeps it lovely and warm, and there are wall radiators in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are comfortably appointed, with bed linen and towels provided. The apartment is named Le Hibou after the owls that live in the surrounding forest, that you may hear hooting at night! Magic.

We look forward to welcoming you to Apartment Le Hibou. We have lived in La Perriere for 18 years, and love the area. At first we came to work in Courchevel, Grant as a ski man, and Anna as a chalet host, and we stayed! We have 3 children who help us to run Hibou. It is a family affair.

There is so much to do in this area, summer and winter, that there is not enough space here to list it all! If winter sports are your thing, we are close to some of the best ski stations in the world. The closest is the 3 valleys, which you can access from either Brides les Bains into the Meribel valley or from Le Praz into Courchevel. In the summer and winter seasons there is a free ski bus from La Perriere to Courchevel Le Praz. You can enjoy skiing, snow boarding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledging. If you want to something more gentle you can simply enjoy the spectacular mountain views while enjoying a hot chocolate or vin chaud in one of the many moutntain cafés. Or do some shopping in Meribel or Courchevel. In the summer this area is very vibrant. You can enjoy mountain and road biking - we are close to many of the classic mountain cols made famous by the Tour de France, and in 2023 Courchevel will host a stage finish of Tour de France - and we are very excited that it will pass right in front of Hibou! There is an amazing network of footpaths around this whole area, which are perfect for trail running or walking. There is also rock climbing, skateboarding, swimming in lakes or pools, golf courses at Courchevel and Meribel, tennis courts, white water rafting .... Brides les Bains - spa town, telecabine lift in winter to Meribel, Park, supermarket, bars and shops (2km, 5 minutes by car) Courchevel Le Praz - ski lifts, cross-country ski tracks, bars, restaurants, summer lake, (8km, 12 minutes by car, free shuttle bus during the summer and winter season) Bozel - shops, bars, restaurants, cross-country ski tracks in winter, summer swimming lake, park, pumptrack, skate board bowl (5km, 8 minutes by car) Champagny en Vanoise - swimming pool, National Park, Paradiski lift, cross-country ski tracks (8 km, 25 minute drive) Pralognan La Vanoise - swimming pool, National Park, ski lifts and cross-country ski tracks (19km, 30 minute drive)
