Au début des années 1980, Isabelle installe dans son atelier de poterie puis Frédéric ouvre son premier cabinet d’architecture. Peu à peu, une grande maison de famille est aménagée, ouverte aux parents et aux amis. Au fil des années, le couple a mené plusieurs campagnes de travaux qui ont radicalement transformé la demeure principale : quatre enfants y sont nés... Toujours prompts à s’adapter et à adapter leur maison, Isabelle et Frédéric ont transformé leurs quartiers pour y créer d'abord 2 gîtes puis 2 chambres d’hôtes.

Située dans le petit village de Laives, entre Chalon et Tournus, cette grande bâtisse date pour ses parties les plus anciennes du XVIe siècle. A seulement 10 minutes des sorties d’autoroute de Chalon sur Saône et Tournus, 30 minutes de Beaune, 1 heure de Lyon et Dijon et à peine 2 heures de Genève et de Paris par le TGV , vous serez conquis par l’harmonie de ce relais de poste destiné autrefois aux chevaux lancés sur la route qui reliait la vallée de la Saône à Cluny

A Laives, petit village en Saône et Loire, au coeur de la "Bourgogne du Sud, tout est synonyme de détente, loisirs, culture, patrimoine, gastronomie... Il faut alors se laisser porter au gré de ses envies et parcourir la route des églises romanes, celle des vins, des châteaux. On peut randonner sur la voie verte, naviguer, pêcher, aller de fêtes en festivals, découvrir caveaux et marchés typiques Mais on peut aussi décider de savourer simplement des moments « hors du temps » : sur le chemin de Saint Jacques, dans cet ancien relais de poste, tout vous invite à succomber à la douceur de vivre !
