Lovely big 25m2 room with a double bed and a bunk bed, kitchenette, garden and use of a big terrain at the back of the house. Beautiful old ceilings, wooden floors, wood burner and simple electric heaters, big shower room (no heating system) and your own entrance. This lovely old house, renovated with respect is situated in the Centre of France Le Berry (L'Indre). If you like a really quiet place with a great personal touch and no fancy stuff, this room can be perfect for you.
I've moved to France in 2011, started with a campsite I rented, now in 2020 I'm the proudly owner of a really beautiful old 'longére' which I'm renovating and turned it into a lovely, peaceful and quiet spot wich lot's of old remarks. At Les Pourettes we love animals and respect nature.
The countryside of Le Berry is well known of his views, long hiking tracks and robuste nature. But you can also taste some good local food in the small restaurants in the area as well taste something of the old day's by visiting the musée of George Sand or one of the many castles in the area. If you prefer watersports or hanging out close by water there are some nice lakes closeby.
