Bay cottage is an old property, part of a small hamlet, in this beautiful unspoilt region of France. The property maintains its "olde worlde character," with some open stone walls , wooden floors and wood burner but with modern tiled bathroom. The main bedroom looks out onto the little orchard garden and pool. We think it is a place of tranquillity. A place for re-charging your batteries and enjoying the varied wildlife. There are many lovely walks from the house , and the village of Busserolles is just 1 km down the hill. If you need fresh croissants, post a letter, a drink of beer, a visit to church or to the Mairie to book your tennis court, at the recreational area down by the river, this is the place to go. There are many amenities and things to do within a few km, if you or your family wish to be active, such as golf, swimming, horse riding , cycling. But it`s ok if being active is not your "thing". You can just stay home, listen to music, read that book that has been calling you, do nothing but daydream if you want, and "chill". A word of warning though...The birds and bees can be a bit noisy!

We are really excited about our little Bay Cottage. We have been busy doing very different things over the last few years , so this is all an adventure , which we would love to share with you. We both love the country side, the nature and the tranquillity of the area. We are using our time here to take up old hobbies and new , and the Gite is also a wonderful way to meet new people and make new friends. Victoria is learning to garden and growing vegetables.. Ian will be happy to share them with you , as he doesn't like veg! Ian is starting to brew his own beer, all in the experimental stages, along with with Victoria's pear and ginger wine.
