Set in the heart of the village of Laurens, 23km from the medieval towns of Beziers and Pézenas this charming studio is perfect for 2. Situated close to the owner's home, visitors are welcome to share and enjoy the large garden and beautiful swimming pool and terraces. The entrance to the property is through private gates with parking adjacent to the studio The studio has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area, opening through large double doors on to a private terrace. The double bedroom, can be separated from the main living area by a screen, has a king size bed and there is a beautifully appointed shower room adjacent. The sofa in the living area converts into a full-size double bed, giving extra sleeping capacity. Enjoy eating al fresco on the studio's terrace, where garden dining furniture, lounge chairs and a bar-b-q are supplied.

Welcome to Bijoux Laurens! I am Irish and my French husband, Alain and I, love our beautiful home set in the wine region of Languedoc-Roussillon, with our 2 dogs, Belle and Poppy, having retired here some 5 years ago. The studio is adjacent to our home, yet far enough away to afford privacy to our guests! We love to share the garden and the swimming pool with you, after a day spent exploring the medieval villages, vineyards, or glorious beaches in this beautiful region. Relax and unwind by the pool and watch the glorious sunsets we so enjoy. Of particular interest, and places we love to visit , are the historic towns of Pezenas and Beziers, both 23km from our home. They are pretty, vibrant and full of ancient history. The local markets are also a great way to shop like a local! We also love the ocean and regularly swim in Portiragnes plages, or visit the quaint port town of Marseillan for a seafood lunch in the sun. We would be delighted to introduce you to wine tasting in the local vinyards, which make this region's wine so loved worldwide. We look forward to welcoming you to our Bijoux Studio!

Laurens, is a working village in the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region, with the Black mountains bordering the vineyards to the west. The village has a boulangerie, tabac, pharmacy, and restaurant. The local supermarket is 6km away. The wonderful sandy beaches at Portiragnes and Valras Plage are within 30 minutes drive of the Studio, making this the perfect holiday base between the mountains and the sea. The surrounding area is dotted with picturesque villages and historic sites.
