Located in Talmont Saint Hilaire in Vendée (France), Sea-Snow Guest Houses offers some beautiful and quite bedrooms in a fantastic guest house with an heated swimming pool at 50 meters from a beach with many old dinosaur footprints. Two bedrooms have a sea view and the three one a garden view. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. From the Guest house you can do everything with bikes or by walking: The Veillon beach (10 minutes by walk, a very famous kite-surfing spot with an extraordinary lagoon, also very nice for families), the forest (green oak and pine trees just in front of the house), the harbour (Port Bourgenay, 10 minutes by walk, where you could rent boats), the 18 hole golf course (15 minutes by walk), the city Les Sables d'Olonne (15 minutes biking), The marsh bird reserve (5 minutes biking), oyster farms (Port de la Guitière, 15 minutes biking) ... Guests can also relax in the garden and terraces and use the heated swimming pool in summer. The nearest airport is La Rochelle - Ile de Re Airport, 46 km from the guest house. The guest house Sea-Snow is located in a very quiet dead end in the heart of the forest with the ocean at 50 meters the house with many old dinosaur footprints deposited on flat rocks and dating back 200 million years... From this place, you will be at 10 minutes’ walk by a coastal path of the Payré estuary. This site classified as a remarkable natural site is protected from the ocean by the tip of Payré and the dune of Veillon. This estuary forms an exceptional lagoon that has preserved a remarkable flora and fauna. Going up the river Payré on foot, kayak or stand-up paddle, you will discover 800 ha of marshes and the oyster farms Port de la Guittière. You can take a break on the beautiful Le Veillon beach backed by a beautiful forest of green oaks and maritime pines trees which lend you theirs shadows for a picnic.
