2 bedroomed Gite full of character, exposed beams , exposed stone work and French style kitchen. We have lovingly restored part of our 400 year old farmhouse to create the gite, with its own garden and above ground pool. We have all the essentials for a young family (cots, buggy, car seat, steriliseretc) Our Farmhouse is set on 4.5 acres of land with a small private wooded area. we have left part of our land as a meadow for the wildlife/bees and butterflies. We have added a par three (3 hole) golf course to our land, guests are more than welcome to use this to have a practice. (Golf clubs NOT supplied). We do accept pets, as long as they are friendly and well behaved, as we have our own dogs, chickens and a cat.

We hope to welcome you to this beautiful part of France . We were both chefs and had a restaurant for over 20 years in the U.K. We have a large family back in the uk and hope we have thought of everything you might need for your stay with us. We have 2 dogs (Dexter the Labrador and Scamps the jack russel. Our cat Otis and free range chickens, so plenty of fresh eggs, we will do our upmost to help with the environment, by recycling, echo friendly cleaning products, growing our own vegetables and composting.. with a warm and friendly welcome .we look forward to meeting our guests. Quiet Rural Hamlet with beautiful walks, 15 min walk to the quaint village of Lussac les Eglises, with two restaurants, Boulongerie, tabac pharmacy and Spar shop. A gentle walk to the little streams and plenty of wildlife. Just outside Lussac is the beautiful Lussac de Chataeu. Also the Town of La Dorat, Bellac and La Soutteraine. For keen cyclists the perfect long quiet roads to each of these towns will keep you active. For artists the scenery is magnificent. A day out in the department of creuse with many breathtaking areas. An 1 1/2 from Futurescope, 4 hours Disneyland Paris, beach lakes between 20- 45min.
