Chalet Sandy is owner-run. This isn't a managed property or a corporate operation — it's a family chalet run with genuine care for every guest. Duncan & Hilly know Les Gets well and are happy to recommend trails, restaurants, local tips and anything else that makes your stay better. Guests often say the hosting is one of the things they remember most. Chalet Sandy is a warm, owner-run alpine chalet set above the village of Les Gets, with panoramic views across to the Perrieres slope and the 2,000-metre summits of Nyon, Chamoisière and Anglon. The chalet has 9 guest rooms across two floors, including deluxe rooms with private balconies and mountain views — the kind where morning coffee becomes a genuine occasion. Warm wood interiors, a relaxed atmosphere and personal hosting make this feel like a home rather than a hotel. The terrace hot tub is available to all guests throughout their stay. Breakfast is served each morning in our shared dining room between 8 and 10am — fresh bread, croissants, local cheese, ham, yoghurt, fruit, eggs to order and good coffee. Early breakfast available on request. Free private parking on site. Les Gets bike park and village centre are a 10-minute walk away. Ideal for couples, families and active summer guests exploring the Portes du Soleil.

Les Gets sits at 1,172 metres in the Portes du Soleil — one of the largest interconnected mountain areas in the world, straddling France and Switzerland. In summer it transforms into one of Europe's premier mountain biking destinations, with the Les Gets Bike Park offering over 128km of marked trails, hosted by the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup each August. Beyond the bike park, the area offers exceptional hiking, road cycling, golf with views of Mont Blanc, lake swimming at nearby Montriond, and the charming village of Les Gets itself — with its Thursday morning market, restaurants, bars and the quirky Musée de la Musique Mécanique. Chalet Sandy sits on the Route des Granges, a 10-minute walk from the village centre and bike park. The Chavannes Express lift is nearby, and free shuttle buses serve the resort throughout summer. Morzine is 10 minutes by car. Geneva airport is approximately 75 minutes away.
