After a day on the ski slopes, hiking or unwinding at the thermal baths, Chalet Gyronde is the place to come home to. The Chalet is located on the 1st & 2nd Floors of the building the host lives on the ground floor. As a customer you have access to all outdoor space including garden via the front & Back stairs. Gather around the large wood burner in the lounge on a cold evening. Open all the double french doors and smell the fresh mountain air before stepping out onto the terrace. Stand and gaze out of the kitchen window as the early morning sun beams through the mountains to the valley of the Gyronde River. Our traditional alpine chalet, on the eastern edge of Ecrins National Park, is the perfect mountain retreat all year round. It’s equipped with everything you need – just turn up, unpack your bags and enjoy what the region has to offer. We’ll make sure your stay is as stress free as possible.
One of the ten national parks in France, with numerous mountain peaks towering over 3000 metres, glacier valleys and mesmerising lakes. Just 5 minutes‘ drive away is the picturesque town of Vallouise, offering all the essentials for a break away – places to eat and drink, independent shops, sport equipment hire, supermarket and pharmacy.
