La Grand Ourse top apartment is a spacious (195 m2) superior sunny duplex apartment with 4 bedrooms in Meribel-Mottaret. With space for 9 guests, a large kitchen, an open wood fire and superb views on the mountains and Meribel valley, this property is a great winter retreat. If you prefer a lunch at home: ski in/out is super quick and easy. For families with smaller children: the ski schools are at only 250m from the chalet.
Chalet La Grande Ourse has been in our family for more than 40 years, I'm from Dutch origin and organizing the rentals, my partner is Irish/Scottish. Besides skiing I Iove running mountain trails in summer and winter.
The apartment is located at ~100 metres from the piste in Meribel-Mottaret (easy ski-in/ski-out) and just a 250m walk (or 50m walk + gondola ride) from the centre of the village and ski-schools. Meribel-Mottaret is the highest village in the Meribel Valley and the most central Village in the entire Three-Valleys, meaning guests benefit from better snow conditions and are in a superior base for exploring this very large ski resort.
