Once ravaged by fire in the late 90s, Château Chevreuil has risen from the ashes to become a stunning 100-acre estate. This historic 14th-century property, nestled in the heart of the Marais, offers two luxurious accommodations for up to 20 guests. For larger special events, an additional house is available to accommodate your guests. Immerse yourself in nature, explore the estate's woodlands and pond, or relax by the heated outdoor pool. Discover the magic of this reborn French gem.
Welcome to Chateau Chevreuil! You will be greeted by Jennifer and Ewelina, who will take you on a tour of the property and help you discover all the best parts of the estate. We are close by during your stay and available to help in any way. Imagine us as your personal concierge service. We love making our guests feel at ease and enjoy helping them with any inquiries they may have during their stay.
Situated between the towns of Machecoul and Fresnay-en-Retz, the property is only 20 minutes away from the large tourist town of Pornic, 45 minutes from La Baule, home to the longest sandy beach in Europe, and 35 minutes from the historic town of Nantes. The region is well-known for cycling, with the Tour de France passing through every year. Why not explore one of the many cycle paths around the Marais? You can take a bike ride into Pornic for lunch before heading back to the house. There are plenty of Vendée-vélo cycle routes which are well marked allowing you to explore the beautiful scenery the area offers.
