Historical Background Château d’Hodebert has been in the family for close on 200 years thanks to Marie Caroline de Sarcé. It is the harmonious result of three building sprees: the central part dates from the 17th century; the two adjoining wings with the two narrower extensions are from the end of the 18 century; finally, the remaining outbuildings to the north-west of the château date from the 19 century. The park was attributed French Heritage status in 1944 and the château itself in 2009. This ambitious restoration project, embarked upon 11 years ago, is a fabulous family adventure which we never tire of sharing! Do come and experience château life in this charming 18th century manor in the heart of Touraine. As a family who have lived here for many generations we shall take pride in looking after you warmly as true friends.

We are a family happy to share his passion for renovating a eighteen century castle.
