Just a short walk away, you’ll find several restaurants popular with visitors, including the Crêperie du Château, ideally located opposite the estate’s entrance. Craon charms visitors with its heritage, friendly atmosphere and relaxed way of life, offering the perfect setting to recharge your batteries amidst the countryside of western France. The château is also an excellent base from which to explore the treasures of the Loire Valley, its prestigious châteaux, remarkable gardens and numerous historic sites. After a day of exploring, you will appreciate the peace and charm of the property. The coast of Brittany is also easily accessible: Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan and Mont-Saint-Michel are all around an hour and a half’s drive away, offering wonderful excursions combining heritage, nature and coastal scenery.
