Le Château de Foussal was entirely renovated in 2024 to offer our guests comfort and modernity. Our eco-friendly commitment includes solar energy, water conservation, permaculture gardening, and sustainable park management. We also support visual artists through temporary exhibitions in shared and private spaces.

Château de Foussal, built in the 18th century, a domain of 7,5 hectares, offers a romantic escape in the heart of Périgord Rouge, near the medieval village of Issigeac (3.7 km) and a few kilometers from Bergerac (airport - 19 km). Enjoy our guest rooms, delicious breakfasts, and dinner at our table d’hôtes (Sundays & Monday & Thursday on reservation - payment at the castle), featuring produce from our own garden or local organic farms. Relax on our many terraces, stroll through the riverside park, swim in the pool, or play ping-pong, volleyball, or badminton. In the evening, the billiard room or shared TV room await. Nearby golf (35 minutes by car) and tennis (5 min by car) facilities are also available. All our rooms have a private bathroom with toilets, TV set, and a safe. We provide beddings, towels (bath and swimming-pool). Breakfast is included in the room price. The entire castle is naturally air-conditionned but some rooms also have their private appliances. Many different areas inside or outiside are at the guest's disposal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Private outside car park (free), charging station for electric cars (request at the castle ), laundry services (request at the castle) are available.
