Château de la Combe is a beautiful small castle, located in the Auvergne region in the very center of France, a 3,5 hour drive from Paris. The castle is surrounded by a private domain of 5 ha, containing a forest, a walled vegetable garden, meadows, a park and a natural swimming pool. The domain is obviously accessible for our guests. The chateau itself is over 500 m2 and has 5 authentic spacious rooms with king size beds and several smaller bedrooms with either double beds or single beds. The chateau is equipped with good facilities, such as central heating, modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms with toilets plus 1 separate toilet and broadband internet via fiber. The chateau can be hired as a whole with a maximum of 15 people, including children. Accessibility Château de la Combe is right in between the towns of Moulins (50 min), Clermont-Ferrand (50 min) and the famous spa town of Vichy (60 min). Paris and Amsterdam are respectively on 3,5 and 8,5 hours, by car. Nature The landscape around the château is very diverse: hills, little streams, woods and meadows that are surrounded by hedges and hedgerows.

We, Joyce and Tim are experienced hosts, since we built our own B&B in 2017 in Amsterdam and have therefore gained a lot of experience as hosts. Most guests book through Booking and rate the accommodation with an average of 9.4. We have two daughters Ise (15) and Evy (13). Since the girls were born, we visited the Auvergne yearly during holidays and we fell in love with the stunning landscapes and tranquility of this undiscovered part of France. Chateau de la Combe for us, is a dream coming true, a dream we would like to share with all our guests.

The landscape around the château is very diverse: hills, little streams, woods and meadows that are surrounded by hedges and hedgerows. From Château de la Combe it is a one hour drive to the famous French volcanic area: the Massif Central with the Puy de Dôme as one of the highlights. It is a popular tourist area and also popular with cyclists.
