Welcome to the chateau life. The castle will be your home for a weekend or a week. Built in a wooded park, the Chateau de Saint Germain des Rives has been meticulously updated and decorated by Yann and Aurelie.

Activities The Charolais/Brionnais region is part of Southern Burgundy, and it is the gateway to the Auvergne and Rhône-Alpes region. Discover local agricultural products including the world famous Charolais beef, its snails, the « suc Charolais », Sophie's goats. Situated at 1h30 of Lyon, 3h30 of Geneva, near « Digoin » known for its earthenware museums, « Charolles » the little Venice of Burgundy, « Paray-le-Monial known for its basilic Come discover its numerous wine cellars, explore the castles of Burgundy (no less than 250) such as Digoine and Chaumont, little-known architectural gems. Or follow the mapped out circuits to visit beautiful Romanesque churches and its incredible Cluniac sites (Cluny, Basilica of Paray-leMonial, Anzy-le-Duc, etc.). Explore this area by car, on foot, by bike, or by boat on the many canals.
