Built in 1786, the cottage is a typical example of a farm house for the region. I completely renovated the home in 2010 using natural materials and furnished the rooms mostly with antic furniture. I am currently redoing myself the thatched roof.
I acquired this house with the intention of creating a weekend haven to escape from the bustle of work and city life. I loved it so much that I become a traditional roof thatcher and now live here full time!
There's lots to do and see but you can also just enjoy the comfort of the house: relaxing in the garden and sauna, cooking up something delicious from a farmers market, curling up in front of the fireplace with a book from the library,...
