Traditional guest house in a typical regional home. The building, originally an old barn, dates back more than 400 years. The living area is set back from the road, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. You will have access to a recently renovated bedroom on the first floor, featuring a walk-in closet, private shower room, television, and a view of the garden. The rest of the house includes a living room and dining room, both accessible to you at any time. Likewise, the ornamental garden, the two terraces (sunny or shaded according to your preference), and the more secluded garden area (relaxation space and vegetable garden) are available for you to relax or work in peace.
After 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality, I am now dedicating myself to a personal project by welcoming guests directly into my home. I hope to share with you my passion for gardening and local tourism.
Chissey-lès-Mâcon is located in the heart of one of Burgundy’s “golden triangles,” midway between Mâcon, the region’s administrative and commercial center, Cluny, a medieval cultural and religious hub, and Tournus, the gastronomic heart of Saône-et-Loire. Just a few kilometers away, you will discover France’s rich historical heritage: from Prehistory with the caves of Azé and Blanot, to the 18th century with the Château de Cormatin, passing through the Middle Ages in Brancion and Berzé-le-Châtel… fascinating and moving stories waiting to be explored.
