Our four bedroom house is versatile. It can be rented as chambre d’hotes or as a self-catering holiday home. Because of Covid, it has been very popular this year for families who want a quiet, isolated holiday and who want to relax with confidence. We, as hosts, are on site because our own house, although separate, is across the drive from the holiday accommodation. The house is spacious and cool in the summer as it is a recent barn conversion which overlooks the rolling hills and volcanoes of Puy de Dome. It has four bedrooms, all with en-suite and is situated across two floors, with the large living area downstairs. The fully fitted kitchen is the kitchen we use ourselves If we are catering for table d’hotes. The washing machine and tumble dryer is in a seperate laundry and. Guests have access to the whole site, including the terrace,garden and swimming pool. We try to make your stay as comfortable as possible with the hope that you feel you are in your own home.

Hi! We are Gary and Amanda, an English couple who moved to France two years ago, for a change of life! We love welcoming guests to our home, and our aim is to make you as relaxed and happy as we can for your stay in the Auvergne. We have come to know the region very well and can help you with any information you need regarding the area. We enjoy our free time renovating our own home and growing vegetables to cook and serve to our guests. We live here happily with our two rescued ex-racing greyhounds who moved here with us from England. We thank France for welcoming us warmly and we aim to repay the hospitality by giving all our guests the same warm welcome.

Combrailleurs is situated about 1km up the hill from Espinasse; a sleepy French village with two cafes and an impressive church. We are in the middle of the volcanic region of Puy de Dome and you can see the volcanoes from the garden. We have peace and quiet, and are surrounded by farmland and wildlife. There are lots of places for walking, cycling and mountain biking. To visit most of the attractions you will need a car, but nearby we have restaurants, river and lake beaches, canoeing, hiking and theme park attractions such as Vulcania and Volcan de Lemptegy.
