When we rebuilt the mansion we found in the attic cocoons and commercial papers adressed to japanese silk traders .we discovered that the mansion was own by a silk trader who according to the novel by Alessandro Baricco travelled to Japan every year to purchase silkworm eggs .

Digoine is the center of a very place with landmarks such as grotte Chauvet, crocodile farm in Pierrelatte, ardeche river canyon, castle of Grignan and is not far from Avignon, Uzes and the "pont du Gard",Orange and its famour lyric festival"Choregies"
