2025 has been a year of many changes. Three years of building work where required to transform the Domaine which was already magnificent in order to include more relaxation areas such as the swimming pool, spa, sauna and terraces, always in harmony with the surrounding environment. But also, to develop our different passions such as ceramic art, pottery and wood turning to share with others. The Domaine de Lespoune was built in 1715 and is comprised of the mansion house and two large farms which exploited over 400 Ha of agricultural land, extending down to the banks of the river Gave d'Oloron. Today the mansion house has been entirely renovated and the first farm which was exploited until the 1950's has been transformed in to a comfortable guest house respecting the local architecture, ideal for 6/8 persons. Located 5 minutes from the histoic town of Navarrenx with it's many cultural, gastronomic and sporting attractions. In the mansion house you will find a family suite and three large, comfortable rooms, each equipped with it's own bathroom and toilet. Each morning between 8h and 10h you can take breakfast on the terasse accompanied by the birds and local wildlife. The Domaine has a car park and free WIFI access. The guest house has three bedrooms each with it's own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dinning area and lounge with TV. Outside you will find a private walled garden equipped with patio and plancha as well as a small out house with washing machine. In the mansion house on certain days, you can join the hosts for an evening meal to discover the local delicacies and regional products. Our ambition is to make each evening as convivial and agreeable as possible with lots of interesting conversation. Sylvie and Ivan are passionate about ceramic arts as well as wood turning and have been practitioners for over 10 years. We propose initiation courses ranging from half to 3 days which can be booked on line with your room reservations. We look forward to seeing you soon.
