Eco-lodge: étoile de Jor is a newly renovated ecological family friendly holiday home. Because of a the hammam, possibilities to reserve massages and it's spacious, serene, multifunctional room, the property is also well suited for therapy and spiritual based group events. (No parties allowed) The house is perfectly located in nature, yet close to the centre of Plazac, a small but charming village. Equipped with a cinema room, pool, hammocks, fully functional kitchens (indoor and outdoor) and more. This property is perfect for your private, green energy get away in the center of on of the biggest archeological areas in Europe. Although l'Étoile de Jor is surrounded by nature, it is also ideally placed if you like to visit castles, historic sceneries and authentic villages. The house is located only 3,5 km from the centre of Plazac, a village known for its cultural diversity, open minded people, tranquility. As home of the largest Buddhistic center in Europe, it attracts a lot of young and artistic people, even though the area kept the charm of a rural, authentic French country side. Also close to Montignac and Lascaux, it is ideally located for visits too historic sites.
Etoile de jor, an ecological and newly renovated house, with its own private pool, garden, porch and patio's, outdoor and indoor kitchens. The Eco-Lodge is equipped with a full functioning cinema room and hammam. We also have masseurs available. Contact me in case you want to have a session in the hammam or a massage (payment extra). The property also has a multi-functional room, perfect for all types of creative workshops, yoga, groups sessions and therapies, ... . This house is perfect for a number of occasions. The apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway. The house as a hole is very well suited for family holidays or group/therapy events. (No parties) As a guest you have access to free parking on the property. Depending if you rent the full property, or just the apartment you'll have a different access. - For the apartment: you'll find a key locker in the wooden pamphlet holder (hanging on the wall next to the front door). When you slide open the glass pannel, you'll see a key locker in the righthand corner of the box. Upon your arrival you'll get the code to the key locker. This key will give you access to the front door.
You'll find a calm and peaceful property surrounded by fields and forests. You've got a lovely view from the house, that is located on top of a hill over the surrounding nature. The house is located only 3,5 km away from the centre of Plazac. When you want to enjoy some local products, you can buy them at the weekly markets. You have them every Monday in Les Eyzies (a beautiful historic small village 20 minutes drive away), every Friday between 4pm-8pm in Plazac, every Wednesday and Saturday during the morning (till 1 pm the latest) in Montignac-Lascaux, Sundays at Saint-Cyprien (also in the morning) (this one is my personal favorite, but from plazac a little bit of a drive). l'Étoile de Jor is located next to an easily accessible road which means that it is easy to get there and around. But like everywhere in this part of France there is no public transportation. So, your own car is a necessity. Although the property is connected to a main road, it is very quiet and calm, so ideal if you want to make bike trips or go for a walk. You can arrive and enter the house privately at any time that fits you best because of our key-locker system.
