En Passant is a beautifully renovated Alsatian farmhouse located in the peaceful village of Dambach, about 60 kilometers north of the historic city of Strasbourg, near the charming resort town of Niederbronn-Les Bains. This typical Alsatian half-timbered property surrounds a stone paved courtyard and a beautiful cottage garden. Opposite the house is a "party" barn with a terrace for you to use and enjoy during your stay. The house and barn are comfortably but tastefully decorated with furniture and objects collected by the couple throughout their lives and travels. A generous continental breakfast is included and can be served in your room or on the terrace in warm weather. Upon request and availability, they offer a "host table," a 3-course dinner that includes wine. KC loves to cook French country cuisine such as Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon and Bouchée à la Reine and has perfected her husband’s favorite dessert, Tarte Tatin.

Your hosts, KC Anderson and Patrick Ganne, welcome you to their enchanting maison alsacienne, which they have lovingly renovated over the past 10 years. Previously living and working in the United States, Germany and France, they chose Dambach as the perfect place to retire. They speak English and French and make an effort to communicate in German as well. The family includes dogs, cats and a small flock of Indian Runner ducks. They are happy to welcome your pets as well. KC is an avid gardener and cook. She loves taking care of her pets and cooking for friends and family. Patrick spent over 30 years in the US Navy and enjoys traveling, collecting art, and learning new home improvement and creative skills. They both enjoy good conversation, a good glass of wine and meeting new people.
