Take a break ! Come and enjoy a four-bedroom, character property that accommodates up to 9 people : the Tourelle Guesthouse offers you the charm of a fully-restored 19th-century barn. The ground floor includes a fully-accessible bedroom, as well as a spacious living-room (with a fitted kitchen) which will no doubt seduce you with its traditional red brick vaulted ceiling. Upstairs, the exposed beams in the ceilings of all three rooms create a particularly charming and elegant atmosphere. Each room has its own style: the first has a natural touch, the second one a Middle-Eastern atmosphere, and the last one a romantic feel. Every room has an adjoining private bathroom. The Tourelle Guesthouse provides you with the charm of the past, and perfect comfort. You will love its overall identity, and its four subtle atmospheres. All rooms are double rooms. The “Middle-East” room has a single bed (90×190) in addition to the double bed. Our rooms are fully en suite, with elegant and modern bathrooms.

Souastre is a quiet little country village in the south of the Artois area, bordering “Poppy Country”, where the Battle of the Somme took place in 1916. Souastre is thus ideally located to visit the Remembrance Trail, which includes the Somme Battlefield Museum in Albert, the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial, the Thiepval Memorial, the Australian Memorial in Pozières, or the Lochnagar Crater in La Boisselle. The Louvre-Lens museum is 35min away, and Amiens is even closer (30min). In Amiens you can visit the famous marshes called the “hortillonnages”, or the cathedral on the UNESCO world heritage list. You are also very close to the superb Arras squares (20min), where you can go up the belfry, and to the Wellington Quarry WWI heritage site.
