Refurbished to a very high standard Gite Deco offers a spacious 2 floored town house with a very large 990ft² (92m²). We offer a large family room with a queen bed 2 single beds & a full size cot. There is also a further large comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge available on request for added privacy for up to 2 people. The lounge is large & has comfortable seating for 4 adults. We offer a large wide screened TV with a choice of both French & English TV. A blue tooth hi fi connects to your phone for your favorite music plus a choice of books & CD's Set just seconds from our Boutique "Maison Deco" however it benefits from a quiet location within the old historical chapter overlooking the historical church and all amenities of the lovely Town. We are located in Southern Central France just North of the beautiful city of Limoges. Often referred to as The French Lake District the Haute Vienne has lots to offer including Lac St Pardoux a 330 hectare lake with 3 different sandy beach areas less than 30 minutes away. The Drive from Calais is about 6.5 hours or fly direct from many uk airports into Limoges with Ryanair, BA and Easyjet. We are an ideal stop off point if you have a long journey onwards north & South. The main motorway North to South is just 15 minutes away. (Long stay only) During winter Oct - March a reasonable 10kw is allowed per day (to avoid unnecessary high use). A reading will be taken at the start of the stay & at the end. Any extra will be charged at standard KW rates.
After living within this beautiful region and owning a Boutique locally an opportunity arose to refurbish a nearby Town House which is now Gite Deco. I have lots of experience of the region and am on hand locally for guests as we are located in an apartment above my shop.
Being in the Town you benefit from all that Magnac Laval has to offer however in a very quiet location away from the busy roads however still close to all ammeneties. This includes restaurants, cafes bakers, supermarket and more. Other historical Towns are close by and the wonderful Lac St Pardoux is less than 30 minutes away with beach facilities and even life guards on season. There is also a large indoor and outdoor aqua park for all seasons.
