Hello, my name is Andrew and with my wife Marcelline, we run "Best of Bourgogne" and manage rental properties for friends and clients in Burgundy.

Known locally as the "14th Century House," this residence was once the home of a wealthy bourgeois family, a testament to the town's prosperity during the Middle Ages. You will be staying in a house dating back over 700 years! The interior has been meticulously renovated to offer you all the comfort and luxury you need. Five beautifully appointed bedrooms provide ample space for large groups or families. Located in the heart of the cobbled streets of Saint-Gengoux, the property sits atop a gentle hill and enjoys triple exposure. Accessible from Rue des Cordiers, the main entrance is a few steps above street level. A secure garage at street level provides an alternative entrance, secure storage for a car and bicycles, and access to the elevator serving all floors. The ground floor comprises a large open-plan kitchen, a living room, and a dining room with ample seating and a dining table that seats 14. A shower room, a separate toilet, and a laundry room complete the ground floor. Just off the kitchen, the elevator provides access to the garage, the first floor, and the second floor. On the first floor, you will find a spacious landing leading to four large double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or toilet. One of these bedrooms has an adjoining room with two additional single beds; ideal for a family with young children. On the top floor, accessible by the elevator or the beautiful original wooden staircase, you will find the games room and a fifth sleeping area. Spread across the top floor, you will find a double bed and a single bed at the far end, while the rest of the floor is dedicated to entertainment with a large cinema screen and projector, a pinball machine, an arcade machine with hundreds of pre-loaded games, and a foosball table!
