The vacation home "Gite & Jardin le coq rouge" is located in the picturesque wine village of Eguisheim. A historic house with flair and charm and yet with modern living comfort. Air-conditioned in the summer months, the house offers about 60 m2 of living space on 3 levels. On the first floor dining room - kitchen - relaxation room with exit to the terrace and the private garden with seating, relax armchairs and barbecue facilities with a gas plancha grill. On the second floor the master bedroom with 160x200 cm box spring bed. Bathroom with corner shower, washbasin and toilet. Then on the second floor a TV (French, German, international)- and game room and the second bedroom with a 140x200 cm box-spring bed and a single bed (with lunge if needed). Basement with washing machine and dryer and additional fridge and freezer. Baby equipment (baby crib, changing table, baby bath and more available). Free WLAN (fiber optic network) is available for our guests. Non smoking (smoking is allowed in the private garden), no pets allowed.
Eguisheim - a "pearl" in the middle of Alsace and surrounded by vineyards. The medieval village with its unusual round shape and the flowered half-timbered houses was not without reason in 2013 voted the most beautiful village in France. At a height of 210 meters, the village is only 5 kilometers from Colmar and nestles gently in the vine-covered hills. This lively and active place offers many historical and tourist attractions. Our cottage "Gite & Jardin le coq rouge" is located on the "Rempart" of the former city walls and was probably built in the 17th century. You can use the entire holiday home with the associated land and garden. You also can enjoy on foot in just a few meters away the advantages of the place with its attractions and restaurants.
