The cottage is located in an old farmhouse. You will have access to the entire exterior of the property (8000m² of woods, fields, flower gardens, etc.) surrounded by old buildings, the oldest of which date back to 1703. If you're lucky, you may come across sheep, rabbits, squirrels, foxes... If you like the charm of old stone in a green and peaceful environment, you'll love this ideal place to recharge your batteries. The cottage is very close from France's favorite GR trail 2023 for hikers. The cottage is a studio equiped with : - 1 double bed 140cm - 2 bedside tables - some storage units and shelves - 1 sofa bed - 1 coffee table - 1 dining area: 1 small table and 2 chairs - 1 kitchenette with units, fridge, oven, hotplate, sink, french press coffee machine, kettle - 1 shower room with washbasin and shower - 1 WC The cottage is the ideal size for 2 people. You can stay with 4 people, but it's a bit small (particularly for the capacity of the hot water tank, which is designed for 2 showers in the morning and 2 in the evening). The second bed is a sofa bed. A family of 2 adults and 2 children can easily stay here. If you're a keen cyclist, you'll have no problem sheltering your bike in one of the outbuildings. We apply the "I finish, I buy back" principle for all those little essentials: washing-up liquid, bin liners, hand soap, kitchen towels, aluminium foil, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, toilet paper. Cleaning is included in the rental price. Nevertheless, we expect a minimum of tidiness, i.e. the bins must be taken out and a minimum of cleanliness done (tables, work surfaces wiped, fridge emptied, etc.). With a view to our return in Normandy in a few years' time, and with a career change in tourism and nature in mind, we've invested in this farmhouse that we're going to renovate little by little. It's in a very peaceful setting, in the heart of the Suisse Normande region, famous for its outdoor activities. We are renting out the cottage to finance part of the renovations.

The cottage is in a peaceful setting, in the heart of the countryside and close to footpaths. A large courtyard makes parking easy. A car is recommended for exploring the region and stocking up on supplies, or a bicycle for the more sporty.
