Honeysuckle Hideaway is situated in the midst of tranquil farmland but there are lovely towns and villages to explore within a short drive or bike ride. We are based 6km from the small town of Ceaucé, very near to the Orne/Mayenne border. There are good road links from the nearest port of Cherbourg, which is just over 2 hours away by car. Being close to the Géoparc Normandie-Maine makes Honeysuckle Hideaway the perfect base for exploring the protected area of forest and bocage. The local area is renowned for cider and perry making. There are a number of family run farms who encourage tasting sessions. The property hosts a range of features. Including - Private garden, Private parking for up to two vehicles and a dedicated guest entrance and exit. We can also accommodate vehicles with trailers and horse boxes. Please be aware that a maximum width of 3 meters applies. We also have our own private paddocks and a small stable on site. And can offer an over night break for a range of animals. As hosts with animal husbandry experience we offer a pet sitting service if guests wish to visit attractions that do not accept pets. Please feel free to message us for further husbandry details. The accommodation offers access to a a further selection of features such as a washing machine and clothes line. We do request an extra cost for the use of the washing machine of 3 euros per 9kg wash. The large woodburning stove can add an extra warm glow to a cold evening, And as a welcome gift we supply a free basket of wood, including fire lighters and everything you need.
