I've always lived and travelled from one place to an other, loved sharing different cultures. I will tell you about my great great great father Leon Belly, the painter who drew the house and made it built in 1870. He is famous for a painting called "Pilgrims going to La Mecque" which is now at the Orsay Museum, in Paris. After him, this special house has always stayed in the family, mostly transmitted from woman to woman. Before me, my grandmother lived there, as a secondary house, and I am the first one to settle permenantly. Since 2014, I have been glad to share with Montboulan's guests some peaces of our mutual stories and History!

Typical XIXth century French little castle. Familial atmosphere. Country house. Not far from Paris. Close to the Loire Valley. Cheese and wine there! Local food, local people, great environment for grand-parents, parents, children and animals welcome. Nice to stay for a night-stop on a trip for holiday, or a longer stay, visits around and enjoying nature, chilling, taking easy. Dinner is also possible, all home made.
