Iris Garden Cottage, has been my labour of love. My aesthetics are a blend of classic European and oriental styles and minimilist Scandanavian designs, this is what you will find at the Iris Garden Cottage along with a spacious living area. The interiors are temperature modulated, created thoughtfully, so that even in extreme heat, you will be very cool and comfortable here. The rooms are on the ground floor without any steps at the entrance. You can park your car right outside your room. The garden is right in front of the two rooms. The rooms are very private and secure, the guests have their own entrance gate and door. The breakfast spread is a gourmet spread of home made delicacies, the best aromatic teas and coffee. Special diet and gourmet meals are available on order, they are prepared lovingly by the host with the best seasonal products. In the summer months you might get to savour our garden produce.
At the Iris Garden Cottage, our motto is to make all our guests feel at home. It is a home away from home. We give our guests their privacy but are available on the property at all times in case they need any thing. During breakfast the host initiates a warm conversation to get to know the guests and exchange information and views, so it feels like eating at home, no guest eats alone unless they prefer to. We like to get to know our guests as people and not just clients.
Saint Germain en laye , in Yvelines, is an old historical town, with the palace where the sun king, Louis the fourteenth, was born. It is a blend of the old and the new. Traditional architecture, museums, art galleries, theatres, cinema, shopper's paradise, French gardens, tree lined avenues, golf courses, state of the art sports facilities, the PSG(Paris Saint Germain) football team originated in this town and their training grounds are now open to all. Saint Germain en laye, has a vibrant cultural life. Throughout the year there are many festivals organized in the town, which are free for all to participate in and people from different parts of France come to experience it.
