Property info

The house, situated in the heart of Castillonnes, has a ot of stories t tell..It used to be a hotel for horse merchants in the 19th century, it used to be a "Café de la Paix" in the beginning of 20th century, a private residence. In 1961, the house was featured in French film "Tout l'Or du Monde", starring famous comedian Bourvil and René Clair. Many years have passed and now, our house has become lovely and welcoming Bed and Breakfast!

The Lot et Garonne area is famous for its food, wine, history and its unspoilt beautiful countryside. You will be ideally located for exploring some of the beautiful sights, which this area of France is well known for. In addition, the region of the Dordogne, a few steps away, will make your stay even more memorable. The village itself, has a lot to offer: weekly market with fresh local produce, municipal swimming pool, walking and bycicle routes, fishing lakes, tennis courts, hippodrome and many more!
