Hi, I have been letting for many years, we have a proven 9.4 rating with booking. We are in a perfect central location in Piegut, with the biggest weekly market in the Dordogne. If you are booking in July and August, you have use of our beautiful shared pool, and private terrace and BBQ There is so much to do here, especially in the summer, I will happily to go through everything with you.. The gite is perfectly charming , my guests have all loved it. It is over 4 floors including the mezzanine. In our village, all within 1-5 mins walk away, you have 4 restaurants, 3 bars, 2 boulangeries, boucherie, beauty salon and 3 hairdressers, plus lots of other shops and bracontes, a historic tower and lovely church plus so much more..... and that is just in the village. Going further afield you have Brantome, they call it the venice of France, spectacular caves in Villars, the famous Oradour which preserves lost lives from the war, sad but worth a visit. The big cities are Perigueux, Angouleme, Limoges, we are in the middle of all three and which are all just under an hour away.

I've been hosting guests for many many years, both here in France and in the UK. I am English but really try to speak as much French as I can. I'm retired but keep busy with lots of local activities. There are plenty of places to walk in and around the village. We are a very friendly village who love nothing more than meeting up over coffee or a glass of wine or two and chatting about life.
