Property info

A tranquil millpond, centennial lime tree and 5 acres of grounds set the scene for our 1820's master's house. Totally renovated, retaining many original features, our historical residence has captured the hearts of many of our guests.

Neighborhood info

Our grounds were the site of the village watermill and a castle keep, of which some vestiges remain. 150 metres away are the ruins of the Nouatre castle, on the banks of the river Vienne. The castle is just one of a chain of medieval forts (Loches, Montbazon, Chinon...) which are just a short drive away. If you prefer the Renaissance era, then we are close to some of the most magnificent - Usse, Azay le Rideau, Langeais, Villandry....
