Welcome to La Grange Guesthouse - our newly renovated French farm house. For your comfort and relaxation we offer 3 bedrooms each with en suites. All rooms have stunning views over the Rhône valley towards the Ardèche. Bedroom 1 - the green room has a 160cm hotel grade bed, ensuite with double basins, a bath and shower, plus a separate dressing space. Bedroom 2 - blue room has a 160cm hotel grade bed, an ensuite with shower. Bedroom 3 - pink room has the 160cm hotel grade bed, an ensuite with double basin and walk in shower, with a separate dressing room. The Guesthouse is an opportunity to slow down and spend time in the French countryside, by our heated pool or taking in the view of the Rhône Valley. The pool is shared for all guests. La Grange is in 2 parts - the guesthouse with 3 bedrooms, large communal dining room, shared well appointed kitchen, reading lounge, large terrace pool and garden. 2nd part is the hosts home in an adjacent wing, totally independent and seperate. The property is surrounded by rural fields of wheat, sunflowers, corn depending on the season.

Martine and Miriam moved back to France 2 years ago having run frenchclass in Paddington, Sydney for 24 years. During that time we also ran language and food tours in Provence and Paris. We are delighted to be able to host guests in our home and share our corner of France. Martine’s family have lived in the area for 6 generations, farming and growing cherries. The latest young farmer has an organic vegetable market garden next door and we have access to a plentiful supply of seasonal produce. We can also offer supplementary French lessons during your stay. La Grange welcomes all guests and is proud to provide a warm, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone.

La Grange Guesthouse is situated in the Rhône Valley just outside the village of Beausemblant. We are 50 mins south of Lyon and 30 minutes north of Valence travelling by car. The closest town St Vallier sur Rhône is on the regional train network and has a local market every Thursday morning. Our region is in the heart of the Cote du Rhône and 15 minutes away is the town of Tain l’Hermitage with all the famous wines, plus the Valrhona chocolate. The ViaRhôna passes close by for our cycling friends. In the region are the villages of Ardèche, the natural splendor of the Vercors and the cuisiné famous from the Dauphine. the is an area full of natural beauty and all the delights you would expect from regional France.
