La Ferme de l"Eglise is the original house, which was significantly extended in the 18th century to provide what is now the owners’ accommodation, and has now been sympathetically restored as a self contained and well appointed gîte on two storeys. Each with its own large private garden and terracing, the gîtes are an escape to spacious tranquility for couples and families alike. Outside of the private gardens the considerable remainder of the 6000 m² plot is shared with the other gîte and given over to lawn surrounding the shared swimming pool. La Grange has exposed beams, a wood burning stove and stone window surrounds offering Charantaise character. Well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living space adds the modernity to the gîte, that includes WiFi internet access, DVD player for Region 2 DVDs and UK satellite TV. The properties sit in a secluded, walled courtyard with plenty of parking, some of which is under cover.
