Company info

We are a Dutch couple living in France since 1992; renting our gîte, studio and apartment is a way to share the beauty of La Grosse Talle and its region. During winter months, Jan takes enjoys calm moments, takes care of the premises and gîtes, while Beer works on her PhD thesis and teaches at Poitiers University (IAE, organizational studies) and Excelia (tourism studies), with a focus on social media, digital marketing and small and medium enterprises. The gîtes are open all year round, and from mid April - mid September we receive guests on our very small campground. We try to cook as much as possible with vegetables from the vegetable garden and are focusing on sustainability throughout our daily activities. We are happy to propose charging for electric cars generated with our own solar panels!

Property info

La Grosse Talle is an ancient farmhouse, with quite a few dependencies and located on 1,5 acres of ground. We are constantly working on restauration projects, trying to preserve the original, outstanding qualities of La Grosse Talle, while upgrading and trying to meet today's standards of comfort. We do have a swimming pool (June through September 15) and an extensive library for common use on the premises.

Neighborhood info

Sepvret is situated in the heart of the Poitou-Charentes and benefits from multiple sun hours, comparable to the ones of the south-eastern regions of France. With easy access to multiple cities (La Rochelle, Cognac, Poitiers, Niort to name some), it is a wonderful place for biking, walking, discovering Romanesque churches and enjoy French gastronomy!
