My passion is film photography and i can teach guests how to use a film camera etc. I also have the skills to do a full clean and repair on these now old cameras. I enjoy hosting as I get to meet many interesting people.

La Maison Bleue, is 160 years old set in the small hamlet of La Fachie a couple of km from Exideuil which is situated in the Charente, now part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in the west of France 48 km from Angouleme. The house set in its own land with small out buildings. There is an outside table with seats and a parasol also with a BBQ. 4 bedrooms and can sleep 10, 11 is possible with a slide out bed for children in room 3. A tent could be put up in the garden if desired. The house has a calming quality about it. Just let your stress go and relax. The bedrooms are supplied with bedding, pillows and two towels per person, if you want to bring your favourite pillow then feel free. There are plenty of kitchen pots and pans and there is an iron , washing machine and a dishwasher in the Utility Room. In the Kitchen there is a separate Breakfast Table, the cooker is induction and there is a large American fridge freezer with chilled filtered water and an ice dispenser .There are Italian cream leather sofas in the lounge with some nice period furniture and original oil and watercolour paintings. There are some interesting books for your perusal and also DVDs and board games

You can walk straight out of the house and explore the local area via the country lanes. The lakes for swimming are approximately 10km away. But the coast is around 2 hours drive. Angouleme and Limoges are a good day out to explore.
