La Maison Bleue has modern, bright & welcoming indoor/outdoor living spaces that will provide the perfect backdrop for your trip to Provence. This detached house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pool, garden & private parking. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the lovely village of Rustrel, in walking distance to the bakery, artisans & restaurants, and just a few minutes drive from the wonders of the Colorado Provencal. Relax here and unwind, or go and explore - so much nearby to see & do! The ground floor of the house has a large and inviting living room with plenty of space for everyone to relax, and patio doors giving access on both sides to the terrace and garden. Flatscreen TV with access to Google TV, Netflix and more (bring your own logins!) Separately there is a modern fully-fitted kitchen with everything you need for cooking using the wonderful local produce. There's also a dining area in the kitchen and patio doors onto the terrace. You'll also be able to use the washing machine and outside drying line or indoor drying rack. There is one downstairs bedroom (this can be a double or two single beds) with ensuite shower and sink. There is a separate downstairs WC just across from the bedroom. Upstairs, there are two further double bedrooms (one queen, one double) which share a bathroom (bath with handheld shower over, sink and WC). All bedrooms have storage and hanging space and come with sheets and towels, and we also provide kitchen linens and pool towels. Outside, a deck wraps around two sides of the house, with a large outdoor dining table under a shady canopy, an above-ground pool to cool off and garden area with deck chairs and loungers for sunbathing. There is private parking behind a gate and further parking on the street outside (no charge). The pool is 4.5m x 5.9m and 1.09m deep There are ceiling fans throughout (including in every bedroom), but please note that only the lounge has air-conditioning.

We offer a discount for 2 guests using one bedroom/bathroom outside of high season - please contact us for details. The pool is above ground, but the terrace between the house and the pool is raised so that the pool is easily accessible from the deck. There is a barrier that we put up to protect children and vulnerable adults and you are able to remove this at your discretion. Please ensure appropriate supervision of the pool at all times.

Just a few minutes walk will bring you to the centre of the village, which has an excellent bakery with outdoor dining, drinks and ice-cream, as well as two restaurants, many artisan shops including an excellent pottery - and a well stocked village shop. In the evenings you'll find a pizza van and a crepe van that come through the village as well as an evening market on Wednesdays in summer. Ten minutes by car will bring you to Apt, which has a selection of large supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes, bakeries etc. Rustrel is famous for the "Colorado", a huge area of ancient ochre mines - the site is now open to the public and the walking trails are just beautiful.
